Zach and Ashley met at a “nerdy thirty” themed birthday party and immediately hit if off and played a game of Mario Cart together. A few days later they met up for a coffee date, and the rest is history!
After they had been dating a while, Zach and Ashley went to Germany and planned to meet some friends in Munich for the Oktoberfest. They decided to go see the Heidelberg Castle before it closed for the day, and they made their way through a castle tourret to get a better view, and as soon as they were alone Zach got on one knee and proposed. Ashley of course said yes, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening!
They both live in Houston, and decided they wanted to get married in the Colorado Mountains, where they would come nearly every winter to ski. Zach and Ashley packed up their car and took a 3 day road trip all over Colorado to find the perfect venue. They stumbled upon an adorable little chapel in Vail, and immediately fell in love with its charm. They knew they wanted to get married there!
Their wedding day approached quickly, and it ended up being such a gorgeous day. A snowstorm came through a couple days before, but by the time their wedding came it was sunny and snowy and beautiful! From their incredibly sweet first look, all the way to friends and family chilling at a fire pit with s’mores as snow slowly fell from the sky, it was the perfect day. Zach and Ashley, thank you for hiring us to capture your day! Enjoy your highlight video:
